PP Flaminio Apartment: a contemporary masterpiece made unique by the charm of Mipa's graniglia

The Apartment PP Flaminio project, the brainchild of architect Pierpaolo Aleandri, is located in Rome’s iconic Flaminio district and represents a flawless fusion of past and present. At the heart of this architectural dialogue lies Mipa’s graniglia, particularly the Tinta Unita collection in Avorio and Giallo Oro colours, which adds a distinctive and innovative touch to the entire environment.

The renovation of this 65 sqm apartment preserved the historical elements of the home, including the original 1940s graniglia floors, which were restored to their former glory to define the various living spaces. The balance between preserving the house’s history and introducing new geometries and contemporary materials is evident in every corner of the apartment.

The role of Mipa's graniglia, especially in the Avorio and Giallo Oro shades of the Tinta Unita collection, is fundamental in the aesthetic characterization of the apartment.

These tiles not only respect tradition but also add a touch of modernity and sophistication to the environment. The Tinta Unita collection is renowned for its versatility and ability to create unique patterns, and in this project, has been masterfully used to achieve stunning results. The new kitchen, one of the central spaces of the entire apartment, has been enriched with a diamond-patterned Mipa graniglia floor.

The combinations of Avorio and Giallo Oro create a vibrant contrast that enhances the monolithic matte black block furniture. This colour choice not only illuminates the environment but also defines a new geometry that makes the space unique.

The PP Flaminio Apartment project is a perfect example of how Mipa's graniglia can transform a living space, blending historical elegance with contemporary design.

The use of the Tinta Unita collection has given life to distinctive patterns that enrich and define the spaces, giving the entire apartment a unique and inimitable character. Thanks to architect Pierpaolo Aleandri's vision, Mipa's graniglia is not just a material but the undisputed protagonist of an architectural dialogue between past and future.
