Monomateria, the first collection of terrazzo furnishings created by Mipa in collaboration with Studiocharlie, expands with a new line of washbasins featuring two models: Blocchi and Perimetro.
Smooth and polished, Blocchi washbasins embody the metaphor of water shaping stone, sculpting the valley through its continuous flow. Available in wall-mounted or freestanding versions, they are complemented by stools, benches, and storage modules/shelving units.
Perimetro stands out for its essential design and seamless continuity between the countertop and functional basin. A thin terrazzo frame defines the space, evoking the protective walls of desert gardens that create unique microclimates.
Alongside product lines such as Neolitico, Pianeti Immaginati, and Numeri, the Blocchi and Perimetro washbasins mark another step in Mipa’s Total Living vision, where material and design merge in perfect harmony to embrace every aspect of interior decor.
The washbasin line of the Monomateria collection explores the potential of terrazzo with two distinctive models: Blocchi, available in freestanding, countertop, and wall-mounted versions, and Perimetro.
Blocchi da terra features a modular structure with a double washbasin and wooden pull-out drawers, ensuring both solidity and functionality.
Made entirely of terrazzo, Blocchi da appoggio are designed to be placed on a coordinated surface, with options for chromatic customization.
Blocchi sospesi integrates open compartments and wooden pull-out drawers, combining structural lightness with practical use.
Perimetro consists of an integrated countertop of variable dimensions, framed by a thin border that defines the functional area with formal continuity.
A synergy expressed through meticulous attention to detail, careful material selection, and an innovative approach to design. To complete the settings, the Eclipse wall-mounted faucet – designed by Studiocharlie for Boffi/Fantini and awarded the prestigious “Compasso d’Oro 2018”.
